Design & Construction Specifications

The custom kitchen features soft-close cabinetry with full-extension drawers, a large island with pendant lighting, and premium Caesarstone quartz countertops in Calacatta Nuvo. The appliance package includes a 36-inch gas range, built-in microwave drawer, and energy-efficient dishwasher meeting California's strict water conservation requirements. All electrical work included GFCI outlets and dedicated circuits for major appliances, exceeding current Gilroy building codes.

Flooring installation required careful subfloor preparation and moisture barrier installation, essential in Gilroy's variable climate conditions. We installed 5-inch engineered oak planks throughout both spaces, with precision transition strips at doorways. The lighting design includes 12 recessed LED fixtures on dimmer switches, under-cabinet LED strips, and a statement chandelier over the dining area.

The 10-week construction timeline accommodated the family's need to remain in the home during construction.
